LWA Fun Series Stop #3 - Results
The Louisiana Wakeboard Association had yet another exciting day for wakeboarders in Louisiana. Bennett's Boat and Ski in Zachary, LA took host to the event on July 8, 2002.
The day was very hot, but was also filled with hot riding. Several new faces signed up to ride in one of the several divisions that the LWA offers and a few of those faces were even seen on the podium at the end of the day. The big win of the day went to Chris Gilpin who edged out Brandon Lackey by 300 points in the Open/Semi Pro division. Chris stuck an enormous 313 at the end of his second pass to help him seal up the first place spot.
Once again, the LWA put on a great event and everyone had a lot of fun. Bennett's is always a beautiful place to visit and has wonderful accomidations for spectators to watch the event.
