LWA Kicks Off In Hammond, LA
 The Louisiana Wakeboard Association will be kicking off the 2002 season, Saturday May 25, 2002. The event will be hosted by Boat City USA in Hammond, LA. There will be divisions for all skill levels. If you are a first time rider or training to compete on the Pro Tour, there will be a division for you to compete in against others of the same ability.
Registration for the event will start at 8:00 a.m. If you are a USA Water-ski Member, then only a $25.00 tournament fee will apply for this event. If you are not yet a USA Water-ski Member, you can purchase a guest membership for the event for a fee of $10.00. An added feature this season will allow you to pay your USA Water-ski Membership in increments of $10.00 per event. So after five events, your $50.00 membership fee will be paid in full. Or, you can pay the $50.00 membership fee as a whole. A riders meeting will follow registration at 9:30 a.m.
