I am really happy to see the initiative to bring Louisiana Wakeboarding back at the grassroots level. The wakeboarding community, together across all regions, is what needs to mold the scene in the state of Louisiana. Rail Jams and Pro Demos are cool, but without a cohesive unit of riders across the state, those types of events do not even reach their potential.

Kroomedminds.com has been here for over 8 years to give a voice to the wakeboarders of Louisiana. The Krookedminds Discussion Boards has been the birthplace of many wakeboarding events, gatherings and most importantly, friendships. Sine moving out of the state, I have not been very involved in Louisiana wakeboarding current events and daily conversations, however, I have been more than happy to keep the site up and running for all of you.

It is apparent that in order for Krookedminds.com to remain the official wakeboarding site of Louisiana, it should be managed and maintained by someone or some group who are actively involved in Louisiana wakeboarding. Therefore, I am offering Krookedminds.com for sale to anyone who is serious about taking the site over.

What will you get with the purchase? The purchase of Krookedminds.com will include:

1. Krookedminds.com (the domain name), transferred into your name to the registrar of your choice
2. All Krookedminds.com code base packaged and delivered to install on your server (hosting may be negotiated for a limited period)

If nobody buys KM it will surely be missed. I've made several friends because of KM. Sure, I haven't seen many of you in a few years, but it's nice to hear from people on the message board. All things come to an end, good or bad. I place KM in the "good" category of which may have now come to an end. If it's so that KM does come to an end, I guess we can still all meet up on whatever site takes it's place, presumably LWC. No site can ever truly replace KM, but maybe one will be able to fill it's void and start a new chapter in Louisiana based wakeboarding.

It WILL come to an end unless someone steps up and buys it. Hell, KM has been nothing but a message board for quite some time now. I realize this may be a sore subject for some on KM. I know that several of the "regulars" were the original Krookedminds Wakeboard Team. I remember when "memberships" were being offered supposedly to help keep the website going; I was a willing participant in that membership drive. I don't want KM to end. I'm just stating the obvious. I'm glad that if KM does end that there will be another website to take its place.

I don't think it is a sore subject at all. It is pretty obvious that things have been slow for several years. However, in all that time, KM.com was still recognized as the website for Louisiana wakeboarding. And that is my whole point. It would be a smart decision for anyone trying to make a push in Louisiana action sports to keep this site as the hub of the Louisiana wakeboarding community. For all action sports in Louisiana, for that matter.

Yes, KM has only been a message board for a while. I decided to aggregate news from Wakeboarder.com and Wakeskating.com on the front page for a reason. What you guys don't understand is that it would take about 10 minutes to get new content flowing on the front page. Pretty simple.

To be honest, it wouldn't hurt my feelings to simply take the site down. However, I don't think that is in the best interest of the Louisiana wakeboarding community and the whole reason why I built the site in the first place. And the whole reason why I started Krookedminds.

I'm not offended by anyone thinking that site A is better than site B. Or that site X will replace site Y. I've never kept anyone else from competing with KM.com. It is only fair to the community to have options, but I don't think that the interest is large enough to support multiple communities. I'm simply trying to point out the obvious and help with the initiative to revive Louisiana wakeboarding, even though I no longer live there.

It would be dumb to let KM die, but I'm not going to give it away either. It cost me money to build and maintain, so I'd like to get something for my time and effort.

It's actually pretty funny how much discussion has been stirred up here in the last few days. I've seen post from people that haven't been on here in quite some time. Once again, another reason why it is smart move to keep this site going. If Charles Reulet, Chris Gilpin or Stiffler make a post, I'd be floored.

There has been quite a bit of interest, but I'm still taking offers. I'm mainly interested in seeing if those talking the talk are ready to walk the walk. So far, I've been happy with the discussions I've had with several people. Unfortunately, none have resulted in a done deal yet, but I think things are going well.
